DescriptionHere's the massive cover for the New Ultimates #1 coming out 2010. The original art measures 22.5" x 84". This art was so big that I had to use my bed as the drawing table!! This has to be the hardest single piece of art that I've ever worked on.Social/Sharing |

Yes, I'm doing BOTH the interiors and the covers for this series. Watch for it in early 2010.

WOW, I think because It took me so long to just take in all the detail from one side to the other that when I went back to the beginning, I think some of these guys moved!.............UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!!!

WOWWW!! That... is... awesome! I'm sitting here looking at it with my mouth open dumbfounded by all of the detail work and the size of this thing! My God, I can't imagine how long it took to draw this. Good job, no, GREAT job!!

Amazing cover but I can't tell who is who with so many people!! Also, we aren't getting the ultimates over here in Germany

It took me about 2 months to draw and ink that cover. This piece was so big that I couldn't use my regular drawing table. I got a big sheet of masonite board, put the board on the bed to use as a hard drawing surface, and essentially used my bed as a drawing table. I could only draw about 1 - 2 hours at a time since I was on my knee and stooped over my bed the entire time. It was a painful experience but worth the effort.
