Description

I knew Peter Steigerwald (not "Pete", as one fanboy learned while I stood watching him work!) originally from his color work at Marvel. My backpack was full to bursting at the 2009 Baltimore Comic-Con and Peter was a late addition to the show, along with the rest of Aspen Studios, so I didn't drag any comics along for him to sign. I'd watched him sketching for others earlier in the show when I was at the Aspen table, and I swung back around when his line was shorter to get a sketch. He was very pensive when determining who he was drawing and wouldn't tell me. He had thought about doing Moondragon, which is where I thought he would end up, because he didn't draw Storm's mohawk until the very end and caught me off guard. He's a good artist, and a great guy. Go stop by his booth next time you're at a show with him!
