Ivan Reis - Green Lantern

I LOVE Ivan's work on the GL books. When I went to the 2009 NYCC, I had hoped to obtain a sketch from Ivan but I figured I wouldn't have a chance. I wandered over to Ivan's table a little after the show opened. Somehow, there was one spot left! Done! I asked Ivan for a GL sketch in my book and he said to come back later.

I did and I saw Ivan was drawing a GL on pice of art board. I started talking with him a bit and then he realized that I had asked for it in my book. Ivan dropped the board and said he'd take care of me.

I sat next to him and just watched him draw the sketch. Every line was meticulous and every bit shading thought out. I am floored by how gorgeous this came out! The logo particularly looks great.
