Chameleon by Michael Turner

I first met Michael Turner when attending the 1997 Chicago Comicon. He had just recently become a hot artist on Witchblade, and he was nice enough to do a quick sketch of the lead character and pose for pictures with my group.

I was excited when I heard that he would be attending the 2002 FallCon, but had the feeling he probably would be too busy to do a sketch for me, especially as I was only able to attend the one day. I waited in line and thankfully was able to get one.

He didn't know much about the Legion, and picked Chameleon as he was a strange looking character.

Michael Turner lost his fight with cancer on June 27, 2008. He was the third person to contribute to my Legion book that has passed away. He was a good guy, and he will be missed.
