Stan Drake was an Artists Artist. This was around the time Neal Adams was assisting Drake. You can see a lot of Drakes influence in Neals work.

Neal Adams was 19 when this was published. I seriously doubt that he had a hand in it. I think he asisted Drake in the mid 60"s. He does seem influenced by Drake here though.
