A very nice surprise from my buddy Lance. He picked this up for me directly from Morrie at SDCC 2009, but unfortunately I had to leave the con before he could get it to me. I was surprised to find it in my mailbox about a week later. Lance was even kind enough to have Morrie personalize it for me.

Now I'm not exactly the world's biggest strip art collector. At one point, I did own a Ben Casey strip, but that was only because it was by Neal Adams and he was one of my big faves back in the day. Still is actually, but it's not like I can afford a lot of that stuff. Besides, most of the really prime Adams stuf is safetly tucked away in other people's collections.

Anyway, my thanks to Lance for this wonderful surprise of a gift.
