Beautiful, merciless, evil and seductive, the Black Widow was the ultimate femme fatale of the Golden Age.

After being possessed by Satan during a séance, beautiful young medium, Claire Voyant places a curse on the Wagler family. When the rest of his family is killed in a freak car crash on the way home, James Wagler returns to Claire's and murders her in retribution. At this point Satan lays claim to Claire's soul, carries her down to Hell, and transforms her into the Black Widow. Now acting as Satan's agent, the Black Widow's job is to collect the corrupt souls of evildoers on Earth, and convey them to Hell. Her first job entails a bit of personal revenge: rather gruesomely dispatching her own killer, and sending his soul to eternal damnation.

The strip was written by George Kapitan, with Harry Sahle and Stan Drake providing the art.
