Description

A common comic fan faux paux: asking a writer to draw something for me. Nick was with Phil Foglio (MCBA Comic Con 1989), promoting their book, Illegal Aliens (an incredible book: go get yourself a copy!). After getting a Star Blazer sketch from Phil, I asked for a sketch from Nick. He siad that he was a writer. I said OH, and walked away embarassed. A few seconds later, I turned and asked him if he would write something for me. He looked amused and wrote the following page. Many thanks to Nick for being such an awesome sport. He is, to date, the only writer who has ever done this for me...
