Description

This is the prelim for the Pink Floyd "Backs" Poster put out in 1995 when they re-released their catalog. Finlay Cowan and Storm Thorgerson came up with the concept, Finlay did this prelim and photographed by Tony May. Its BIG, 30"x50", and on the back are a bunch of notes and sketches showing the artist's thought process.
Recently one of the models posted some behind the scenes info on the shoot. Kimberley Cowell arranged all the models for this shot and helped Storm Thorgerson style models.

It was shot in 1996 in a private house in Puntney.

I know this is just my opinion, but for me, this is the Coolest piece of art on all of CAF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This belongs in a museum............or my house :)
