Description
I am really thrilled beyond measure about this wonderful page from "And To All A Good Night," my ultimate grail-story and monomaniacal desideratum of my collecting hobby. Profound thanks to Glen, Rick and especially Cy the Guy: each has really gone above and beyond, and they are truly titans in the fellowship of comicart collectors.

While my passion for Colan/Everett Black Widow artwork long ago slipped the moors of reason and floated into the choppy waters where the river of casual desire meets the gulf of obsession, it's still surprising how much pleasure each new page brings.

Don't let acres of new neural pathways devoted solely to these pages in my fragile limbic system lie fallow. Walk with giants by selling/trading me your Colan/Everett Widow artwork today!

Colon placed Black Widows um, attributes, at just the right angles for said 'extras.'  Awesome all the way 'round!

Well done! I also caught this at the San Fran show and it was one of the standouts at the event. I had no idea how amazing Everett's inks looked on Gene until I saw this piece in person. Very happy that you managed to land it.

Seeing pages like this makes me sad to know that there are so few pages of Gene's pencils inked by Bill Everett. Such a fantastic teaming of talent. Wow.

I saw this page in person in San Francisco too, and I have to say it is probably the breast, I mean, best Black Widow page I have ever laid eyes on. I'm very happy to see it in your collection. Big congrats!

I don't have any, but if I did, I probably would offer to sell/trade my Colan/Everett art solely for the fact that you are the first person, to my knowledge, able to work the words "limbic system" into a CAF description. My Paleomammalian brain salutes you, sir.

What a desirable page this is! This really takes me back. I first saw it as a 1974 reprint in an oversized Giant Superhero Holiday Grab-Bag book, and it blew my young mind away. You've got so many key pages from this stellar story, and they look even better in B&W! Congratulations!

I worry that the words toss, messy and a shower scence had a lasting impact on your young mind. Lol.

Gorgeous page! Beautiful layout by Colan--It has an almost cinematic flow to it! And, not surprisingly, Everett's inks are just sublime! Congrats!

Your almost hallucinatory happy descriptions when you feed your redheaded super agent fixation always give me a giggle. We are all fixated on something and its no bad thing that paper with marks on it makes us happy.
