Charles M. Schulz

A great little advertising illustration done by Charles Schulz for the Butternut Bread company in the 1960's. I was astonished to be the winning bid when Rob Stolzer put this piece up for sale on eBay. Since Schulz's death, prices had pretty much escalated to the point that I assumed I'd never own an original by the most important cartoonist in the last half of the 20th century. That Linus could have been me around 1960 watching television and enjoying a snack!
