AND NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION...Hello and welcome to the first issue of "Page 23", the next page!!! This is the third part of a multi-year trilogy I started in 2005, and is based on my original comic art collecting experiences. The first site, "Tales from the Neonboneyard" http://www.neonboneyard.com/ (website no longer up...DANG YOU GEOCITIES!!!), was a two year journey in comic art collecting with wise and witty sayings. The second, "The Secret Crisis" (guess where that name came from) http://www.secretcrisis.com/ , was more of attempt to tell a cohesive (and smart @$$) story thru displays of my comic art collection. We now get to the final part of this trilogy, with Page 23!!! Learn the myth's, the legend's, the behind the scenes stories, and all the plookie plot of the comics and comics art collecting world starting today!!!

I actually started Page 23 as a blog site in 2008, on which I sort of ran out of steam around July 2009. Apparently, the blog way is not my way, so I'm moving back to comicartfans in 2010 and starting anew. Well, not anew, since I'll be stealing from my original blog, plus my neonboneyard and secretcrisis sites ('cuz I gots sticky fingers, or on the internet is it sticky eyes... or whatever sticky body part gets the job done). I basically have five different topic I will be intertwining during this part of my multi-year rant. First off, one of the inspirations for this web site will be the comic blog "Comic Book Urban Legends Revealed" (now titled "Comic Book Legends Revealed") by Brian Cronin at http://www.comicbookresources.com/ . It's not hard enough to collect "one of a kind in the universe" original comic art pages for me anymore. I am now dedicated to finding pages which have an addition story behind them, or what I like to call, the "Art of Controversy." Second, I'll be displaying my "Grail Pages" I've collected over the year's. Third, I'll be going the other way and will be displaying somke of the cheapest comic art I have ever purchased, which can be surprising. Fourth, I'll be rambling about my comic art experiences for this year, or waht I like to call "My Comic Book Year". And finally, I recently turned 46, and have really started to lose my collector's fever, so I'll be going thru "Comic Art Collector Disassembled". Yes, I stole these titles, just as I'll be sticky eyeing from "Comic Book Legends Revealed", "Newsarama", my own websites, and any other websites I can find. And as I go along, I'll also be throwing in more than a few references to movies, songs, programs, and games from the 80's to the present during these rants (the disassembled part), so lets begin with "Comic Art Collector Originally Assembled"...really hard to make the opposite term for that flow...
