DescriptionAt the time I was mostly reading Curt Swan Superman Family and Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld. Then I picked Daredevil and Electra Assassin up because of the hype. I remember when I got to this page, I almost fell out of my chair and thought Miller and Sienkiewicz had gone insane. But now looking back, in the bigger scheme of things, I considered this the turning point of the medium from a children's niche genre to high art.Social/Sharing |

Thanks for selling it to me Carl! When I missed buying it by hours after you purchased it, I didn't think I would get a second chance at it. I was lucky that you ran out of room to display it at your mansion.

The TOP page !
I agree. And to think this page was rejected from the IDW Bill Sienkiewicz Artist's Edition. I think this page represents the dramatic break from the Bronze Age and what came after.

This is so great! Bill changed the very nature of art in comics with this series and the Daredevil graphic novel.

12 comments? TWELVE????? This is better than 90% of the pieces on the Most Commented page. Must be the Rodney Dangerfield of OA. At least you get to hold it and see it every single day. That's better than getting a thousand comments. May you enjoy this for a lifetime.

To quote you, ' But now looking back, in the bigger scheme of things, I considered this the turning point of the medium from a children's niche genre to high art.' Comic creators are pretty kinky. Great art but I would not like to ever be locked in a room with these guys.

I've met Bill many times and even have been in his home. He is a really nice guy.
