I love these Conan pages... There must be something wrong with my eyesight that turns me into a puppy every time I see some wash tones... and then the compulsion... buy, buy, buy !!

I think this is a page from the Scarlet Citadel story, published in SSoC 30 if my memory is correct. Great atmosphere. Conan anyway, love Conan what can I say!

I used to own this. I bought it from Frank around 1980. Frank himself removed the word balloons and filled in the gaps. Great pacing. - Jeff

Brunner's art was so inspired on this issue that it became my favorite issue of SSoC almost immediately, and nothing I read afterward ever topped it.
