The Flash 01

This is a piece I'm proud of solely for the fact that this is a pencil portrait-esque drawing done completely without the aid of photo reference. Here we have a depiction of the Silver Age Flash, Barry Allen, demonstrating his mastery of the Speed Force. I tried to incorporate the same graphic effects they're using these days with his costume (i.e. the lightning motifs on his gloves and belt). S'amazing what you can do with a kneaded eraser these days. Etched on 11 x 14 and currently up for sale on Ebay.
