Description
Flash is able to outrun the Kilg%re.

Bought this page off ebay in 2005. A seemingly rare example of Guice on Flash, as I haven't seen too many pages pop up in the past 10 years.

I started collecting comics in '86, and the first two years where a wonderful time to be a comic collector (didn't take me long to get jaded). Flash was a title I collected because Mike Baron created a believable super-hero. This Flash didn't run at light speed and vibrate himself through solid objects, no. Wally could barely break the sound barrier at 705 mph. And he needed to eat like a horse to maintain his metabolism. More like 8 horses, actually. While this isn't really that believable, to me it had a much more grounded basis.

I was always more interested in those types of characters; my #1 character was Iron Man for the same reason. I could never get behind a character like Superman or the Hulk: what possible tension is created by having a character that is infinitely strong?

This was part of my recovered art collection. The piece was stolen from my hotel room post-SDCC 2013. Purchased back by me via California's laws which protect pawn shops from going under due to purchasing stolen goods. Thief was arrested in August 2015.
