Amazing piece by the uber talented Craig Hamilton.

There's a lot going on and colorist Petra Scotese did a really good job. But the piece in its original black and white glory is something to behold.

I love Shanna the She-Devil and her 80's big hair. Maybe she was modeled after (Louise) Robey from Friday the 13th: The Series ???

Craig had this piece for sale at Super-Con 2009. When he indicated he already committed to sell it to X... I asked him to let me know if the transaction fell through.

Well, the deal happened. But as fate would have it, the art became available again.

And here it will stay.

Ka-Zar and Zabu were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Shanna the She-Devil was created by Carole Seuling and George Tuska.

You dog! How did you get this away from Morger? I remember seeing this as we were all walking out of SuperCon last year and we ran into Steve, who showed us the stuff he had just picked up. I can't believe he let it go. And I can't believe I didn't get it. LOL!

Shanna, Ka-Zar and especially Zabu never looked so good. There is a three dimensional feel to this piece that only an uber-talented artist like Craig can pull off, bringing us hyper-detailed realism on the things up close, while softening the focus on the things far away, just like our eyes (or a camera) would do. Stunning piece -- I wouldn't part with it either. Savage congratulations!
