Description

Technically the title should be: Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe Volume XXIV.

They are called the Titans of Myth. The literal Titans. They were acknowledged to be real as part of Wonder Woman's origin. And they actually became part of DC's continuity starting with the New Teen Titans. What would they think of us??

1st column
Tethys
Coeus
Cronus
Thia
Mnemosyne
Crius
2nd column
Oceanus
Phoebe
Rhea
Hyperion
Iapetus
Themis

In print, the headshots for Crius and Mnemosyne are switched and all the headshots were separated a bit to print the names of the Titans.

The main art has the figures. There is a vellum overlay for the color holds of the background elements (columns, clouds, birds) including the steps on which the Titans are posed.

For the record:
Iapetus, Themis - Titans of Justice
Crius, Mnemosyne - Titans of Memory
Coeus, Phoebe - Titans of the Moon
Hyperion, Thia - Titans of the Sun
Oceanus, Tethys - Titans of the Sea
Cronus, Rhea - Titans of the Earth

Costumes designed by George Perez as they first appeared in New Teen Titans 11.

Beautiful, not to mention amazingly insane, detail on this piece. I love Garcia-Lopez's artwork. Congratulations on obtaining this one.
