Description

I had the fantastic good fortune to have my favorite artist reimagine one of the most memorable panels from his classic run on the late 70's epic Marvel comic book The Micronauts. Prince Acroyer ripping the canopy off of the gun wing fighter to confront one of his treacherous subjects is an image that was so vividly ingrained in my memory that I knew it was the first commission I'd ask for if I ever had the opportunity. This year I did and Michael went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. This was the high point of my weekend and it's a piece I will cherish forever. Michael is such a nice, personable fella, he's an absolute pleasure to talk with and is so accomodating and friendly toward his fans. Renee, thank you again, and Michael, you know how much this means to me, thank you so very much, you're the best!

This is my favorite Golden commission to date! That's coming from someone who owns a lot of recent commissions by him too! It is very cool to see a classic panel re-imagined by the same artist! Only Golden could have taken it and made it even more interesting with a different angle! The stuff fan-boy's dreams are made of!!!
