Michael Golden Micronauts Acroyer SDCC 2010 commission

I had the fantastic good fortune to have my favorite artist reimagine one of the most memorable panels from his classic run on the late 70's epic Marvel comic book The Micronauts. Prince Acroyer ripping the canopy off of the gun wing fighter to confront one of his treacherous subjects is an image that was so vividly ingrained in my memory that I knew it was the first commission I'd ask for if I ever had the opportunity. This year I did and Michael went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. This was the high point of my weekend and it's a piece I will cherish forever. Michael is such a nice, personable fella, he's an absolute pleasure to talk with and is so accomodating and friendly toward his fans.
