Iron Man 2.0

Based on creative criticisms given by a fellow artist, Cassandra Pearse, I realized I didn't go dark enough with the leads. Upon her suggestion, I ground down some graphite pencils and mixed it with baby oil and rendered the main torso and background, yet still maintained the graphic leads for the gold portions of his costume in order to show textural distinction. I left the eyes, chestpiece, nodes and repulsor hand unrendered so I maintaint that level of white-hot energy, and ultimately it was the right decision. Even from a distance this image just POPS!
