Mr. Robo Sexy! - Collaboration: Jamie Biggs and Ben Gilmer

This character is an original creation by my long time best friend Ben Gilmer. This piece was done some years ago (around 3 or 4) and was the product of Ben's limitless imagination. He wanted me to do my own version of his creation, so one day at my office I churned this bad boy out. Mr. Robo Sexy is a throwback to the old tin robot toys that a lot of us (or our parents) owned as kids. I just love this character, and much like all of the rest of Ben's characters, the story that goes along with him is truly original and hilarious. You can check out Ben's original designs in the final two images. I am sure you will see more of my collaborations with Ben in the near future. He has quite a stable of "interesting" characters that I would love to tackle once my schedule clears up a bit.Thanks to Ben for his incredible talents with both his imagination as well as his pencil.
