This cover is purely a nostalgia pickup for me. Way back in the early 80s, I would ride my bannana - seat bike (remember them?) to the local convenience store to check the new comics on the spinner racks.
I was completely struck by the bubble-gum pink cover on this particulary issue and knew I had to have it, but didn't have the money for it so I took my trusty bike around the block a few times in search of glass Coke bottles (remember them?) and returned them to the store for the bottle return refund and used the money to purchase the comic.
Flash forward a few decades and I noticed this cover on Dave Mandel's CAF and I'm itching to own it! After some inquiries, he makes it available for sale to me at a reasonable price, but I had too many irons in the fire and was unable to commit.

Flash forward a few more years and I see the cover on Albert's site. Albert and I negotiate and strike a deal and I've been walking on clouds ever since. A heartfelt thank you to Dave and Albert for making this acquisition a reality.
