Over the years, as Steve's style has changed, he has been compared to a variety of comic artists.

According to Steve, IDW said they were looking for a certain style when they asked him to do the covers for IDW's adaption of the 1958 United Artists movie. Hmmm... ya think?? Why wood... would they want him to do that ?!? I'm just saying.
