DescriptionOriginal art page for Wonder Woman #61, published by DC Comics. This classic full-page splash is the final page of the issue (Pg. 22), and features an incredible grouping of legendary D.C. heroes and villains. Some of the characters shown are Batman, Robin, Aquaman, Fire, Ice, J'onn J'onzz the Martian Manhunter, Starman, Metamorpho, Power Girl, The Flash, Dr. Fate, Zatanna, Blue Beetle, Elongated Man, Poison Ivy, Green Lantern, more Justice League members, Deathstroke the Terminator, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and that's not even the whole list!!! This is from the classic story "To Avenge An Amazon" written by George Perez, which led into the conclusion of War Of The Gods. In this final page, the assembled characters vow to act "FOR DIANA!" Amazing art by the incredible Jill Thompson. Please note that there are some art corrections pasted on (these are original art) near the top, including Powergirl's chest and arm, Flash's mask, and Deadshot's eye. To get a published splash page with so many different characters featured together like this is rare indeed.Social/Sharing |
