Adam Oates hockey stick

This game used stick was given to my wife by Adam Oates when he played for the Washington Capitals in the 1990's. We met Adam at several team practices and players at the time were often able to give fans their sticks. The stick is hanging above the windows in our family room. My wife initially became a hockey fan when Adam Oates joined the Capitals; a local newscast had an interview with him and she thought he was "hot". I'm just glad she started following the sport as it is something that our entire family enjoys watching together and is a big part of our lives.
