DescriptionThis is not a lithograph but a one-of-a-kind piece given to my father-in-law for Christmas 1972.On December 25, 1972 Claude Georges used the color background he had featured in his recent Tarzan commission to make a collage with characters cut out of R. Crumb comics. This artwork was believed lost for a long time until I unearthed it among the several hundred pieces that cluttered my father-in-law's apartment after his passing in 2007.
