Karate Kid vs. Prometheus by Kevin Sharpe

It has been quite awesome watching Kevin Sharpe�s art improve over the years. When I first saw his work in an X-Treme X-Men miniseries he was pretty good. Nowadays he�s very awesome. Kevin has drawn the Legion of Superheroes a few different times but I don�t think he�s ever drawn the original Karate Kid so I was happy to give him the chance with this commission. I gave Kevin a couple of choices for opponents and he went with Prometheus, one of his favorite villains. And man did he draw one cool-looking Prometheus! I love the way Kevin drew his armor, cape and energy effects. And then Kevin put in Prometheus�s crooked house which was a nice touch. Big thanks to Kevin for this drawing!

Prometheus has the fighting abilities of the top martial artists in the present day DCU downloaded into his brain. This won�t help him. If he somehow had Val�s skills as well, he might last a bit longer, but having those abilities is not the same as mastering them, as Val will teach him. Prometheus might get a lick or two in before Val takes away his tonfa, but then it will be all over but the crying.
