Description

After Kara decided to update her wardrobe around 1970, a "contest" was held by DC whereby readers could try their hand at designing Supergirl's new costume. This was one of the first ones chosen and featured way back in her run in Adventure Comics. She kept this one for about 6 issues or so, but sometimes would display up to three different costumes in an issue. Finally the hotpants (my favorite by the way) would be chosen as the standard used for about 10 years. Thanks to Gene Gonzales for doing a great job on this request!
