Stelfreeze, Brian - Domino!

As mentioned in the 'B is for Bigfoot' entry that Brian did for my daughter, the only reason we went to AggieCon this year was to *finally* procure some Stelfreeze art for my collection. Been a big fan of Brian's for *many* years, at least as far back as his beautiful paintings for the covers of Shadow of the Bat, so he's been very high on my list of guys I want in my collection. Frankly, I've never been a fan of Domino. Never liked her look, never liked the character, she just didn't do it for me. Until the mini-series that Brian put out in 2004 - it kicked ass, and so did Brian's re-design of her. When Brian asked who I wanted him to draw, I gave him a choice between Zatanna and Domino - obviously he chose to do Domino, so I'll have to hit him up for that Zatanna at a later date ;) It was pretty amazing to watch Brian work on this beauty, how he blocks in the figure and all, and his inking just makes me want to cry when I think about how bad my work is in comparison to his! I have a hard time calling this a con sketch since it looks *so* finished. Can't wait to add some more Stelfreeze to the mix, hopefully later this year. Pencils and inks on 11"x14" Bristol.
