DescriptionJohn Totleben was associated with Swamp Thing long after his contemporaries Moore, Bissette, and Veitch left, since he went on to render a lot of covers of the run, until the very last issue. In course of the 50-odd legendary issues penned by Moore, he pencilled and inked two issues in their entirety - one of them was 48, the other was 53. The issue where Moore managed to top (imho) the ending to the Brujeria saga. Twenty-five years later, the storyline reads as fluid and timeless as ever - an unquestioned classic.< br>I could not jump fast enough on this page when it came up for sale, and it took a long time to reach its destination. The time you spent waiting to get to this classic masterpiece was definetely a very good investment!! Those thre panels contains the very essence of an historical series, that by the way can be read today as if it was contemporary. Beautiful, beautiful stuff, really.

Very nice page. Totleben's attention to detail really shows on this one, especially the last shot of Swamp Thing.
