Art Adams - New Mutants Special Edition - Cypher and Warlock

Some day, some happy day in the distant future, I will manage to find a piece of Art Adams New Mutants original art that I can afford, with luck featuring Cypher and Warlock.

Until that happy day dawns, I have the limited run lithograph elsewhere in this gallery, and now this great colour guide (on acetate sheets, the art being separated from the text) from the New Mutants Special Edition of a page starring Cypher and Warlock, as Doug offers up everything he has to save his severely weakened friend.

If the art at the time of the original release of this had one problem it was that the colouring processes used weren't able to differentiate much, make some of the art look muddy and unclear. These pieces are MUCH sharper!
