I am in total agreement with you GS. I guess I should have been more clear in my description. I love Perez and I am a HUGE Aparo fan! So this collaboration IS indeed very special and very rare, as you mentioned. My problem is that if you were planning to merge these two covers into ONE image, why not just let both artists do the entire thing together??? Yes, the Teen Titans was George's book and Outsiders was Jim's book, but if you let Perez PENCIL the whole thing, why not let Aparo INK the whole thing??? It didn't make any sense and even more importantly, made for a noticeable stylistic inconsistency when the two pieces were merged. While I wouldn't go so far as to call it an eyesore, it did bother me just a bit. But I certainly did like it enough to keep it as long as I did. And I only gave it up for something VERY special in trade.
