Description

Ok, I could use some help on this one. Anybody recognize this piece? It's a beautiful large painted piece by the legendary Jack Sparling, who did decades of classic work for Fawcett, Harvey, Dell, Gold Key, DC, Marvel, and other comic publishers from the 1940's through the 1980's. This piece looks like a cover, and features a terrified man being attacked by a group of nude women inside what appears to be some sort of Egyptian temple or tomb. They are wearing head coverings that make them seem like high priestesses or witches or something similar. Sparling signed the piece and dated it what looks like "71", so I assume it dates from the early 1970's. If anyone can provide info, it would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice! As for it's being published. Have you try sending a scan to some auction houses/ art dealers? Maybe they'll know or even owned & sold it at one time over the decades. Good Luck & congrads!
