Homer Simpson by Matt Groening

One of the happiest days of my life was at the Bongo Comics booth in 1997 when after getting in line for Matt Groening, he was joined at the table by David Silverman and Bill Morrison who, at least while I was there, EACH did a sketch for the people in line, meaning 3 different sketches for me that day from, hands down, the three most important people in the history of Simpsons art.

I'm told Bongo/Simpsons artists are no longer allowed to sketch on blank paper, only official Simpsons books and merchandise, so this giant Groening drawing of his most famous creation on a comic book backing board is real throwback.
