David Williams is one of my favorite artists, and this is a perfect example of why. Every single piece of art that he churns out is crackling with energy and gusto, and his backgrounds are always nuanced and electric. I requested a commission of Daredevil in either his original or traditional costume, and this is the stunning result. Thanks so very much, David; it was SO worth the wait! Thanks also go out to my lovely wife, Rachel, whom made all of this possible: what a great birthday gift!

It's funny George should bring up Romita Jr's name? David posted this up on his Deviant site saying it was his "poor attempt at doing Romita Jr." In short, I lambasted him telling him how AMAZING I thought it was. Congratulations Matthew, I am not familiar with Mr. Williams work, but this piece sure spiked my attention once I laid eyes on it! The pose of DD taking up the entire area is terrific, and the use of color in the background is stunning.

Even as a thumbnail this one just jumps out.....no surprise that it's a David Williams piece...He's quite an amazing artist.
