DescriptionOne of the nicest Rip Kirby strips I have ever seen and the most beautiful piece on my collection, from Master Raymond's last year. When I first saw this beauty I knew I couldn't let it go. It has Rip, It has Desmond, and a gorgeus dark haired lady hiring Rip's services. Also, the inking in the backgrounds are totally awesome, specially on the 3rd panel, where we can see a blurry Rip in shadows. What else could I ask for?Social/Sharing |

A beautiful strip indeed Pablo. Congratulations! One of the things about Raymond's work on Rip that I really love is his layering of textures, which is apparent in this strip throughout.

Love how Raymond drew and inked Rip's facial expressions, then darkened it. The structure of the expression is retained by the way the shadow casts over it.

This is really an outstanding piece, Pablo. If you can apply the label "classic" to any comic art, Raymond is definetely on top of the list, and I agree that this is one of the nicest examples you can see around. I join the chorus of other watchers, deppest congrats!

Poco se podría añadir ya sin sonar repetitivo, pero... it´s simply AWSOME how Raymond plays with the shadows in the last panel!!! Well-meaning envy!!

And one of my favorite collections on CAF just gets better and better. It's very rare to see a Raymond Kirby strip with Rip, Desmond, a beautiful Raymond woman AND excellent crosshatching, that makes your strip among the most definitive I've seen. Enhorabuena, amigo, y tu mama tambien!!

No one drew woman better in the comics than Raymond did, some came pretty close, Wally Wood, Stan Drake come to mind...what an awesome example, Congrats!
