Description
I really don't know the history of this piece so any light that can be shone on it is greatly appreciated.I don't believe the story ever was finished or published in any form but I could be wrong. It looks like Bernie did full pencils and started to ink it and then never finished it.
The inked image is a scan of the original, which I inked, and now have both of them hanging together in my home.
I hope you enjoy these.

Dennis, given Bernie didn't finish this fully and you stayed true to the pencils, this is awesome... Especially what you did with the machine. At some point in the last decade(?), Guy Pierce was in a more modern version of the H.G. Wells "Time Machine" story... My guess is given all the "Concept" work he's done for Hollywood, this may have been something he was going to submit? Very cool original, and your inking sits nicely over the pencils, and I love what you finished with the machine! I'm a huge Wrightson fan and can't believe I've missed this in my searches over time! Glad you have this here to share!

Well I must say a very big thankyou for your kind words!I was quite intimidated to say the least ,in inking this great piece, but felt that it was vital that I do the best I could to stay true to the style of the small amount of inking Bernie had done on the piece.Your words are greatly appreciated and I am glad you enjoyed it!Thanks again!
