Original Harmsen Van Der Beek pen and ink/watercolour artwork. Panel 7 from The above story. About 4.5 by 3.5 inches in size and cut from a panel page (sigh!). The Whole story (6 pages, 32 illustrations)was sold at Southebys in 1997 for the princely sum of £1495.

Van Der Beek was the original Noddy artist and was responsible for the look of the original characters as written by Enid Blyton. He died in 1953.
