I bought this and one other piece almost 20 years ago from this issue. I had to part with one but I don't ever expect to part with this baby. I think it represents Wolverine at his moody best. The detail is great and I think Sam Kieth was born to draw Wolverine!!

Sam is a genius artist but I think he was also one of the most technically skilled inkers comics has ever seen. I'd put his inks up against Frazetta and Alex Raymond or any of the other greats. I think he was that good during this period.
