Description

Done when I met Bernie in Kansas City. If I remember correctly, he wasn't that keen on Swamp Thing sketches at the time, but did one for me when I nervously told him I was the current penciller of the book. He couldn't have been more classy and gracious.

wonderful! thanks for the back story. i met him acouple years ago @ kc also. he was very kind and was willing to answer all my nerd questions in regards to his relations to stephen king/cycle of the werewolf/creepshow etc .

Wrightson is indeed classy and generous to fans and fellow artists. He seems so humble despite having created some of the greatest B&W art in the 20th century (IMHO). This is a beautifully executed sketch, BTW! Great mood, lighting, composition, and textures; and the indications in ST and the trees are right on

This is wonderful. Wrightson was truly a master. Every story I have heard about him was that he was pure class.
