Description

The arch nemesis of the Doctor, the diabolical Master, as he was first portrayed by the late, great Roger Delgado. Although he was born in London, Delgado's father was Spanish. Considering the actor's ancestry, I thought it would be appropriate to ask artist Pere Perez, who is currently drawing Batgirl, to sketch the character. Perez did a nice job capturing Delgado's likeness.

By the way, I don't know if it's ever been confirmed, but rumor has it that John Byrne based the name & visual of Alpha Flight villain the Master of the World on Roger Delgado.
