Conan the Barbarian vs. Hellboy by Mike Hawthorne & Simon Gough

Mike had already done one fantastic commission for me when he drew my Karate Kid vs. Taskmaster piece. So when I had the opportunity to commission him again I had to do it. Mike has drawn Hellboy before and done a great job. And he’s done an awesome job on the Conan comics he's drawn. So I asked him to create this piece which is probably the closest I’ll ever get to seeing this dream crossover. And Mike knocked it out of the park, of course. I love the head-on collision setup of this piece and the fierce determination in both of their faces. A huge thanks again to Mike for drawing this for me!

I love both of these characters, and if somehow Hellboy was ever mystically transported back in time to encounter Conan, I’m sure this would make for a big, brutal fight. But Hellboy would win. Not without some wounds, and it would take a while, since Conan is too stubborn to know when he’s beat, but yeah, Hellboy would win. Afterwards, they could team up against Thulsa Doom and Baba Yaga and good times could be had by all.
