DescriptionThis definitely has to be my favorite convention sketch ever. People who have been collecting Mike's art for a long time know that getting sketches from him were very difficult. Since I knew all the Aspen guys, I decided at Wondercon 2007 to ask Frank if he could have Mike just draw me a really quick headsketch so I could have him in my sketchbook. Fast forward a few hours later and Frank handed me this. I almost cried. I was told my mouth was literally hanging open. I'll always miss Mike, but I'm lucky to have these types of wonderful memories of him.Social/Sharing |
