Incredible. It feels like Jack was drawing on some pretty personal feelings here, and it shows in how perfectly it's laid out.

There's a very similar page from almost the same angle in the Silver Surfer GN. And a DPS version in pencil from the same that Stan and Jack condensed to one page. But this is far and away better than either of those. I remember when Losers came out, a war book was the last thing I wanted to see Jack do. And then it turned out to be excellent! Your collection is a mind blower, Erik!!
