Karate Kid vs. Batroc the Leaper by Drew Rausch

I loved the Dr. Strange/Etrigan the Demon piece that Drew did for me so much that I knew one day I would have to get another commission from him. When thinking of opponents for him to draw for a Karate Kid commission I had a moment of inspiration when I thought of Batroc. I don't know why, but I just knew that Drew would draw a great Batroc. And he did! I love this whole thing, but Batroc in particular just looks awesome, from his moustache-twirling to the writing on the bottom of his boot. Batroc would always enjoy a good fight, and Drew makes it show.

Batroc ze Lepair is the master of savate, but Val Armorr is the master of every martial art, so really this should be no contest. But Batroc has kicked Captain America and Batman around, so he is not to be underestimated. Either way, I think Batroc would make this fight entertaining before Val took him down.

If you like this piece then go buy some physical or digital books featuring Drew�s work and/or commission him yourself.

I really dig the zany madcap vibe of this matchup by Drew. Batroc is an inspired choice to feature opposite of KK, as he is a character that plays right into the strengths of the artist. This one brought a big smile to my face, Travis. Hats-off to you and Mr. Rausch!
