Description

Stan came first came into my first Haight Ashbury comic book store in 1977 with his son looking for Star trek stuff. Gave him a good deal, asked him to make a presence in my book. He told me Freddy Flypogger was his very first creation for Big Daddy Roth when he was a young teen-ager. Later in the early 90s I was offering his art at Best Comics and Rock Art Gallery I co-opened with a partner in The Cannery down in San Francisco's world famous Fisherman's Wharf.
