Legion of Superheroes Homage to Adventure Comics Issue 464.

The Deadman story which was featured on the cover Adventure Comics 464, caught my eye and seemed ideally suited as a vehicle for a long overdue focus on Wildfire . I wanted to shake things up a little so I asked Fransisco to draw Legionnaires from the Waid, Kitson era. He did a good job capturing the unique style and look of these characters..Princess Projectra, Star Boy, Light Lass and Element Lad as they as a mystical way of using their powers to try and contain the energy of Wildfire. Chris Ivy again did his usual stellar job with inking, adding a grey wash to enhance the energy effect around our heroes. and redesigning a logo similiar to the Adventure Comics layout.I like the small details did such as the addition of "It's the 31st Century, Do you know where your children are ?" which was used in promotional ads for the Legion. It is the back and forth on this that makes re-Legion a fun project all around.
