Description

Chris Brunner (aka Chris Be) is a fanfreakintastic artist who I've been wanting to get a drawlin from for a while now. He can do beauty, he can do gritty, he can do it all. My saint of a wife was kind enough to meet with him on my behalf at Free Comic Book Day 2011 at Heroes Aren't Hard to Find in stunning Charlotte, NC. I'm sorry if that seems cheaterly to anyone, but I couldn't have made the drive on my own after working all night, and since she was there (and has no interest in sketches of her own) I asked her to make a couple of rounds. I'm even more sorry that I didn't get to meet Mr. Brunner myself, but will correct that at Heroes Con (also in gorgeous Charlotte, NC) provided that I can manage to get there. My wife told him I'd asked for a bat villain and he took it from there - choosing one of my personal faves I might add.
