DescriptionSeen here is the cover to Weapon X #1 in its frame. The one on the far left is the original art, the middle one is actually a copy of the artwork that I put the production overlays on, and the smaller cutouts are the published comic and the art to Jean's psychic Kirby effect. It took me a while to figure out what to do with the title overlays. I wanted to frame them, but I noticed that when they're in place, it covers a lot of the original art. I didn't want to lose so much of the cover, just to have the title. My friend Shane Turgeon suggested framing them on a copy of the art, and I think it's the best of both worlds. Now, I can see all of the original art, and can see the title overlays as well. I went with a triple matte: black outer matte, and then blue and red inner mattes to match their costumes. I also went with a stainless steel frame since I thought it looked nice, and fit with the industrial look of the cover. Social/Sharing |

The frame must be HUUUUUGE. Looks great though...and a great idea the way you display everything. And...not to forget...you can not go wrong with a Kubert piece, right?

Very nice. I like the way you framed it's nice seeing how the pieces go together to create the cover.

This is an incredible way to display the piece. I'm going to have to bite your style a little bit-flattery IS the highest form of compliment!
