Description
'Frank Miller meets Battle Picture Library' is how Brett Ewins describes the style of the first epic run of 'Bad Company', and this page, focused around (not so) Mad Tommy, has that feel in spades. Bad Company is destroyed, yet Tommy remains. But he's no longer ranting on about WWII and feedin' the bloomin' Nazis cold steel - he's talking sense! It's hard to look at this page and not feel the hairs rising on the back of my neck as Tommy prepares to spill the beans to Danny and Mac on why he pretended to be mad for so long... and on the secret origin of Kano.

Thanks to Rufus Dayglo @ Artdroids.co.uk for the sale and to David Rees for tipping me off yet again.

I have a real soft spot for Bad Company (particularly the first run) and of all the pages you have, this is my favourite so far, Greg. The repeated use of photostats by Brett throughout the series is a very effective device and I especially love the closing panels of this page... Gripping stuff.
